    Thinking of taking a week long artists retreat over the new year. 6-7 days of somewhere can setup easels for paintings and peace and quiet.. any advice of residencies or cheap cottages/houses/towns be appreciated...

    Can also be with artistic groups or sharing some communal facilities...
