Bitcade cabinets & monitor orientation

I am thinking of getting one of the Bitcade bartop units and have a few questions...* Does anyone have experience of these? What is the quality like? * I am planning to use this primarily for MAME via RetroPie. Would a 16:9 in vertical orientation or a 21" 4:3 be a better choice?

Always go 4:3 ratio of you are playing classing games as they'll fill the whole screen.

If you want to go vertical, just use a 4:3 in monitor rotated in 3:4 instead. No reason to be using 16:9 at all.
