I think women with those fake looking lips look ridiculous and not attractive at all.

Do men actually find them attractive?

No but when they're wrapped around your mickey you put it out of your mind.

    They look like ducks !!

I remember a girl at work got them, I have no clue why, a very good looking girl and then this comedic looking lip job. As well as the ‘aesthetic’ failure she had a little difficulty speaking to the point of you’d need to be biting your own lip if in conversation and I remember being told the price by a friend of hers, and so did I.

I agree about the lips and also throw in giant fake arses and spherical boobs.

Just remember to wash off the excess lipstick she leaves behind

I’ll give that a try to see if it changes my opinion.
We can call it a psychological experiment.

    They are so trashy looking.

    You can always tell.

And that itself is the problem.

Pointless operation and incredibly unnatural looking.

Sometimes it looks bad, but sometimes it really makes girls look better

She definitely looks better after. But some people are just really against people changing their appearance with surgery and will always just say they looked better before without judging each individual outcome

I don't think she looks better at all tbh. I used to work with a girl who had them and I couldn't stop staring at them even though I didn't find her particularly attractive. They seem to do that to me even though I don't like them.

Different lighting in the second photo but yea they don’t look as bad as some of the ones I see regularly.

To me she looks considerably younger and healthier and her face looks more balanced and proportioned. Well I guess thats the answer anyway why some girls get them, lots of people think they look good while others think they look daft

I have naturally big lips and growing up was quite self conscious about it so the trend has helped me like mine more.
In saying that though, I get asked by random people where I had them done often and I don't like that part so much. I agree that fake ones can be spotted very quickly so I hope and don't like the idea of people thinking I had mine done either.

No , I went into the Chinese last week , and the girl that took my order got them done, they looked ridiculous . She looked like she could suck a bowling ball through a straw though..lol

Lips are one of those features that nature usually gets right. Does anyone ever look at other people and say to themselves “they really need to do something about those lips!” OK there’s the odd person that seems to literally have no lips. But I think lips are almost always better well left alone. I used to draw people frequently and these things tend to unnerve me more than they should. Their choice though.

These fillers (or whatever they’re having done) result in lips that are not in proper proportion to the rest of their features. Perhaps even worse it actually takes away the unique shapeliness of their lips. They become larger but they lose many of the distinguishing traits...the peculiar arcs, curvature, etc. They all seem to have identical lips complete with their morphed cupid’s bow. Also with the excessive ones it will make the mouth look distended, like a gelfling. It may be just another fashion fad for many. But some really take it far and may have body image issues. A few of my female colleagues have had their fillers removed so perhaps this trend may be on wane? Anyway I only ever comment on female fashion habits on a discussion forum. I smartly keep the ol gob shut on such matters in the real world. :pac:

Gosh that photo... very sad. She had a well defined face before, lovely cheekbones. , the bulbous lips just took away that refined quality she had, made her look like a toddler.

It’s fairly gross that people would prefer a young woman to look more like an infant.

Id say that's just bad cheek filler.

The eyebrows thing is far and away the worst.

But I do think a lot of these stupid things women do are just to be seen to be spending money on themselves to try to one-up other girls they know, rather than to be attractive to men (very few, if any, men I know like women more when they've messed with themselves).

Inflatable lips sound great, but they always look like they're the result of a bad infection or allergic reaction. I've never seen them look good.

Mind you, I love big fake tits, so maybe it's just 'to each their own'. I would agree that the 'before' picture of the blonde girl posted looks better than the 'after' though. Something very transexual looking about the 'after' for some reason.

A girl in work got fillers. She's off in Bali now on holiday. The chance of her drowning is next to none. Before getting them done she was a natural beauty, the kind that make you wonder what you hit on the way down. Everyone noticed. It looked unnatural. IMO I don't think they do it for men specifically but because of them bitch*s on IG and things like that. I don't know. I'm lost with her now.

There is no right answer to this question as it is all about degree. It is exactly the same as augmented breasts. They can look and feel absolutely stunning but also grotesque.

Same as lips.. They can look amazing but when it goes above a certain ml look ridiculous.

When it is clear that it's fake that is usually beyond point of no return. But doesn't mean that it can never be attractive.

I remember as a kid looking at the Guinness Book of records and seeing the woman with her neck elongated with gold hoops and cracking up. I found it bizarre that she was found beautiful by her tribe... Similar there was a woman with wood inserted in her bottom lip making it protrude about 8 inches and she was the most desirable... People find extremes desirable.

I don't and I'm fine with that. But there is a fine line between augmentation and body dysmorphia. So as long as it's safe and someone is happy I say rock on... But when it is obvious that it's an addiction (like that girl on eurotrash with boobs the size of carrantoohil who eventually died) then I say... Fcuk. Scary.

ia it true that those injections work by pumping an irritant into the tissue causing swelling?

No, they are usually hylauronic acid, which is something that holds 3 times its weight in water, if I remember correctly.

Yes but its the only filler that can be reversed if you don't like the affects its why drs like it.

That double photo isnt comparing like with like. The second image is different all round not just the lips. The eyes are bigger and brighter, everything about her face looks better not just her lips. You can do that with lighting, turning a face slightly, positioning the camera just right and using a different lens will change anyones portrait very much for the better. You can make a portrait look better without Any surgery or even make up.

The before and after photos were made for the cosmetic surgery company so of course they are going to use every trick in the book to make her look better in the second photo. You can make a portrait look better without Any surgery or even make up.

The second pic is framed a little tighter making all her features look larger.

You can generally notice the filled lips.
And then there's the inability to pronounce words properly, it's similar to talking to someone who has a numb mouth from being at the dentist for a month load of fillings.

Breast augmentation has been around a lot longer. So most of the work done in that area is better at this stage. Thus boob jobs look much better now.

Lip augmentation in the way its currently done has really only been around 20/30 yrs.

How unwell can somebody be to get fake lips? Disturbing, in so many ways.

Why can't people just accept what they have and endeavour to keep themselves as physically fit and mentally well as they can? That's as perfect, and as brilliant, as any of us can get. This "perfection" rubbish really takes advantage of vulnerable people.

Not at all. Its fairly common. Let people do as they please without judgement so long as they don't hurt people.

They're the funniest looking things going. It's some sort of mental disorder that leads to women thinking blown up blimps for lips actually look well. I've yet to meet a lad who actually likes them either so if it's attraction they're going for, they're going down a bad road.

I know a girl who got them and ruined her face. She used to be gorgeous and now you can't see her behind her lips, it's a real tragedy.

Definitely a better lip job than so many of them, but such a shame that she thought she needed cosmetic intervention.

She looked perfectly fine and nice beforehand. Beautiful skin and eyes and hair. And nothing wrong with her lips.
