    Hi,
I am researching a garage conversion, which is detached, and 1m from my detached house (at the rear).

I am trying to find out what the definition of attached is,(the garage can be converted if it is attached to the house).

Basically, i dont want to fully integrate it into the house, would some sort of canopy etc make it attached for this purpose.
    Thanks in advance.

It’s either attached or detached. Quite simple really, I would imagine.
What part do you not understand?
