Coinbase app

Just a question on the coinbase app. When I go to the "home" tab today. It shows bitcoin at - 3.82% However when I go to the third tab in "prices" it shows bitcoin at - 2.33%. Why the difference?

I asked coinbase and the replied:

"When placing a buy or sell order, we lock in the price that is quoted at the time of the transaction for 30 seconds. Even if the price changes, we still honor that price. To account for this volatility, we may add around 50 basis points of spread to the total (0.5%).
We only add spread to the buy and sell price on Coinbase, while in other places we quote the current market rate from Coinbase Markets, which is calculated purely as a function of supply and demand on the platform".
