Cloning with broken screen

Is there a way to take a phone with a broken screen and clone it to the same model of phone? I'm happy enough using adb etc. if necessary USB debugging / developer mode not enabled on the phone with the broken screen unfortunately :(

Is the screen viewable at all or is it completely goosed?

It's black but the back light is working. It briefly flashed on leading me to think it's largely a loose connection but the screen is so badly cracked that I think any attempt at removal will end it.
