A "hack" to make your phone feel way faster if you enable Developer Options.

I've been using it for a day and it works great. Switching between apps etc. is far faster and makes the phone feel new. The logic is obvious.. Can't believe I only saw it now.

I've been doing this for years. When I showed people they were amazed..

Apparently it works for anything that uses Android animation. Many things are quicker. Like my Reddit app opens images faster.

You can also set it to 0 which I did for an hour but I'm not that in need of time.

    Personal preference here.

I prefer to leave them at 1, as animations look smoother to me.
When I change to .5 it's faster all right, but animations are less smooth, or even too abrupt, which I personally don't like.
To me it's not worth the trade-off.

However your mileage may vary :-)
