You can use anything you like really Its called MSPaint game as its the one thing that most people have easy access to on their PCs and it creates some funny images because of its limitations, but yes, you can use any medium of drawing that you like really, as long as you can upload to it a site to be viewed by everyone

Does anyone have any tips for a decent (free) app for an ipad for this? Nothing fancy, I can't draw anyway

I got auto desk sketch for Android. Pretty decent. Could be available for iPad

MyBrushes have a decent free app(or used to anyways) and paint98(I think)
