Like another intrepid 'funky' boardsie I decided to document my experience trying to install this USB joystick, bought as an impulse purchase.

I powered up my Asus Rog strix and waited until it went fully into Windoze.

I connected the Hama joystick to a spare usb socket.
Now, on the skimpy instruction sheet it states wait 1 minute for the joystick to be recognised.

..no dice .. looked in mouse peripherals games in control panel - not recognized.

So..apart from apportioning blame to Microsoft windoze/Hama(they make stuff like photography equipment dontvthey) or Asus, dies any other kind soul have any advice out there? I've downloaded drivers too

    Right,

I got the joystick recognised as a PC Games Controller on Windows 10 machine. Works okay aparently playing X Plane 11.

After a bit of difficulty got it recognised as urage Airborne - what it should be - in Windows 8.1 laptop Lenovo Z500

Windows 7 sony viao - recognized as PC Games Controller.
