W-8BEN Form while unemployed

    I'm unemployed, (not on jobseekers) and I have contracted a freelance job from the US, working from home and delivering the service online.



    I do not have my own business yet so when I get paid, how does it work in terms of being taxed through the W-8BEN form, will revenue tax me after or before? Do I need to setup a business first to get taxed?


    I'm basically looking for the proper approach with receiving income through a W-8BEN form, any help would be greatly appreciated.
