    Hi
Can I ask how does the pro rata allocation of professional time for the new junior cycle work for part time teachers?

So it's straight forward if you're on a full timetable its 33 class periods per annum - or 1 class period per week.

I'm on a part time contract and should have 23 class periods per annum which obviously is difficult to timetable - I can't figure out how it works?
Also I was on the same timetable last yr and worked the contracted hours with no professional time off or no extra class period accounted for in pay. Am assuming this was incorrect but didn't want to rock the boat as hoping for CID

Can other part time teachers clarify how it works for them? Thanks.
