Work at 2 schools

Hi.
I'm wondering is it allowed to work at 2 schools. For example School A offers 14 hours and School B offers 8 hours weekly. Can the teacher ask both principals if they could box the hours into 2-3 days so that teacher can go work at the other school(in a different city) on days off? Just wondering is this common.
