Shadowrun - Intro

Frostburn tries to open the least conspicuous door of the limo.

If successful she peers in and says hello to Erica and tells her to remain calm.

Frostburn tries to cast invisibility on Erica too.

Rude goes outside to see how far away the Limo is from him.

Popping around the front Frostburn slowly opens the front right hand door and enters the Limo....

He swings at the one closest to him first

Just at that moment the whole group receives the following comms from Zipfile:

"heavy metal inbound. Don't go outside without your rain mac and a tin opener.

it's a low profile wetworks dumbot, doesn't have a hand to shake or an ear to whisper sweet nothings in, whatever you're doing do it fast and jander out faster"

Yu is observing through a window inside the stuffer shack

Rude and two of the gangers get drawn into a melee, there's a brutal exchange of blows for a couple of seconds. Rude slices at one of the gangers but the swing goes wild as they both fire on him. Quick to react however Rude blocks the bullets with his blade and cuts the head of the first ganger. The other fires at him again, but Rude just tanks it with his armour before removing the ganger's arm.

Seeing the brutality three more elven gangers rush him thinking him part of the troll gang. The fire spirit looks up but ignores him for now.

...and quietly gets into the back seat. Placing her hand on Hoffman's shoulder she also goes invisible.

"What's going on? You one of the Runners I'll be paying soon? Quick service" Hoffman says to Frostburn, though quietly. Being under Frostburn's spell Hoffman can see her easily.

Yu stations himself in protective stance in front of zippy, in case the brawl overflows into the store.

They burst in and knock Rude back slightly, fighting with each other as they do. Two elves head for Yu and an elf and two orcs draw Rude into a four way melee.

Sword drawn again, Rude goes for the elf and shouts at the orcs

'Alliance? Yes?'

Rude impales the Elf as the Orcs grab him.

"Fúck! You one o' da new bruisers?" one of the Orcs says looking up at Rude

Yu drops the elves as they approach him with two well placed silent shots.

The group receives comms:

"never mind, turns out I'm a miracle worker, air support has been cancelled. Guys, what is Frosty doing in the car? You know I can't see or hear while I'm in here. You trying to pull this run without me? You crossing me? I will get all Lakota on you, you pull anything.

He gestures to the ones advancing on Yu

As the Orcs rushes, Yu has dropped the elves.

"Well I go for ones back outside then" the Orcs says patting Rude in a friendly way and heading out.

Frostburn comms back 'I'm securing the mark. Taking her out of the car. We shouldn't be seen. Can you remotely drive the car off as a diversion. Get these gangers to follow the car?'

FB turns to Erica. 'hold on. Working on something.'

Fourier

Frostburn sees Zipfile pop up on the vid screen in the limo's backseat.

"No problem-em-em-emo!"

Hoffman turns to Frostburn with a quizzical look.

"An associate?"

'Something like that' she tersely responds to Erica. Talking to people was not FBs forte.

'We are invisible and this car is about to drive off as a diversion. Follow me out of the car calmly and quietly. This is basically your only out of this situation that doesn't involve those gangers.'

Without waiting for a response, FB heads out the door she came in. She keeps her head down once outside and waits for Erica to follow her.

If/once Erica follows, FB heads away from the fighting towards somewhere with cover: with Erica in tow.

ooc: the gangs are not interested in the limo, they are interested in fighting each other. Not sure i understand having the client exit the nice shiny tank to get out into the middle of a melee.

Ooc: if the limo moves with or without the client in it, the gangs will become interested. And I doubt the tank can hold out for long if all the gangers set their minds on stopping it. Not being near the gangs is the best plan I think.

Fourier

Frostburn guides Hoffman through the melee whereupon suddenly the alarm goes off in the limo behind them, it revs up and drives straight into some of the gangers and out through the gate.

Out on the street it ploughs into the summoner killing him which sends the fire spirit back to the astral plane.

As the limo takes off the elven gang leader tells his group to get on their bikes and follow the limo. The other gangs stop their fighting momentarily in the confusion and some half hearedtly take off after the elves, others continue the street war.

Frostburn gets Hoffman back to the Stuffer Shack in short order. She looks up at Rude, Zipfile and Yu as she enters.

"Nice work, a clean efficient extraction. Who's your fixer?"
