There was a furniture shop at Cobh Cross about 37 years ago and, for the life of me, I can't remember the name.
    Anybody remember??

Was greenwood the massive one. Used to hate being walked around by the parents looking for some tacky mahogany nest of tables or the type of stuff you'd see a doily on.

Great minds think alike. Now what did MFI stand for. I'll go with Manky Furniture Ireland.

OP, did ya get any redundancy off them?

MFI..."Making Fools of the Irish" was what I always heard it referred to as back then.
