    EI526 from CDG to Dublin got to what seemed like only a few feet above the runway to me on the plane) before taking off again, and spending another 15 minutes going round to have a second go.

    Pilot said he was caught by a "shift in the wind", a "headwind initially then a tailwind" which "destabilised us momentarily".

    Was at the point where you brace for the wheels to hit ground when the engines kicked in again. It really sounded like it was straining to get back up again, there were a few nervous glances around.

    An experience anyway!

    You had a go around, happens regularly, standard occurrence for airline crews and ATC

    Was on a EI LHR-ORK when the plane powered up just as we were about to land. Pilot said afterwards that he lost spacial awareness due to cloud rolling in at the last second. It happens.
