    Thanks, yes it's very well built and is just really easy to set up, an antenna analyser is essential and band changes require adjusting but it performs very well for such an antenna.

    I was mighty impressed getting to Canada with it even if I got a 3 and 2 or something like that.

    I used the MP1 with the 80m coil for I think the first time at night last night and made it to Spain and Switzerland, 1200 and 1600 Kms. Not bad for a 7 foot long antenna on 80m.

    I'm sure it won't break pileups but it, gets out, it was a big surprise, I wasn't expecting to make it that far. I was using the FT-891 @100 watts.
