So over the years we've seen some names dropped and reintroduced after a few years.
I think the latest is Ford is bring back the Puma but it's a completely different type of segment of cars.

I'd like if Opel reintroduced the Senator name.(I've seen very few of them).
There's just something I like about the name.

What are the car names you'd like to see to return?

    Opel Commodore,

I saw a 72 or 73 D one going north from Sligo to Donegal last weekend. he last time i saw one was in the early 80s when a wealthy Canadian guy used to visit a Canadian neighbour of mine.

I watched old episodes of Crimewatch UK on Youtube.
They nearly always have a Sierra or a Granada.

If a van was involved it was nearly always a Bedford van.

It annoyed me that Ford released the Kuga, having had a Cougar, which was a very different animal... :)

I lived in England in that era. A common vehicle would blend in seamlessly.
The Sierra was called the cl*tor*s because every c**t had one.

Triumph: Dolomite/Stag/Spitfire. Down market/sporty versions of BMW/mini products.
Wolseley/Riley upmarket versions of small BMW/mini products.
Any form of Daimler for premium versions of Jaguar.

I've heard of amphibious vehicles, but that second Voisin with its four hatches looks like an amphibious submarine.

They were said to be reviving the Datsun name for budget cars. Like rebranded Dacias or something. Don’t know if it ever happened.

Zephyr and Zodiac - fond childhood memories! :)

    Mazda Bongo Friendee
Ford Puma (not the new crossover thingy, a real Puma)
    Opel Manta
    Nissan Bluebird
    VW Lupo (better than UP!)
    Plymouth Superbird
    Subaru Brat

I'm sure there's more but I can't think properly at this time on a Friday :)

My Dad had one too, he loved it. I think the nae Commodore is still in use in Aus by Holden ( GM brand ) - certainly was 10 yrs ago

Ford Probe is a brilliant name and is the Plymouth Prowler - I wouldnt drive one past a girls school ! :D:D

    Multipla :p
Well, it already has made one return. I didn't realise it but the bug eyed, 3 front seat modern version wasn't the original Multipla. There was one before that that looked like a stretched version of a Fiat 600, and also looked uncannily like it was driving backwards!

    Volvo S40
Fiat Punto (in the spirit of the 1993 model)
