24 port switch for home use recommendation?

    Hi all,

    Can anyone recommend a 24 port network switch for home use? Obviously like to keep the price down but don’t mind paying for quality either.

    Go with a Gigabit switch and get POE, it is very useful not only for CCTV but also WIFI extenders and later for some gadgets

    If you want to use a system with more than 8 cams or a bespoke nvr (Blue Iris) or open source system (Zoneminder, Shonibi), then a Poe switch would have the advantage.
    I'll be setting up us a number of cameras on Zoneminder in the next few weeks, 5 to begin with but plan to add a few more eventually including one or two wifi cams where power is available but Poe isn't.
    All will be integrated with Home Assistant.
    Got a 24 port Poe switch of a mate so have plenty of room for all connections.
