Is a degree in Digital Marketing worthwhile?

Long story short I dropped out of a general business degree at an NUI..
It seemed very geared towards the side of business I don't enjoy, most modules were maths, stats, mgmt + financial accounting, macro & micro economics.
I loved the marketing, management, HR, BIS side of things..

I'm looking at going back to college at an IT (Athlone) for their Digital Marketing course, the honours degree.

I want to get a degree, I don't fancy studying a stupendous amount of maths, stats, accounting and economics in the process.

I'm interested in web development, UX/UI, SEO and of course Marketing so this degree seems right up my alley.

If I'm intent on going back to college and nothing going down the general business route (or subsequent routes that specialise but whereby you still have to take the aforementioned modules), would a degree like this be worthwhile?

    Hey

I think its worthwhile to invest in online space. I did digital marketing in 2012, and it served me well. I have some online businesses running well now, and I also help clients to grow thier business online. I think you should take the leap! Let me know if you have any specific questions!
