Matt Targett moving to Villa for 14 million.

He should be first choice fullback you'd imagine.

Taylor and Hause will provide competition. Granted I don’t know quite how good Targett is because if he is he should be better than those 2 who were solid if not standout players in the Championship.

It'll be hard to resist putting him in if he has a good pre-season.

Wonder how he will fit into first 11? What formation was Rodgers playing with them last season?

Vardy will obviously be CF and I would have thought Maddison would have been the player just in behind?

    Yeah.

Squad depth could make it trickier now for a Leicester player.

Perez news is very interesting. Getting him instead of Vardy allows me an extra premium attacker (Kane or Auba) to supplement Sterling as a premium captain option, all the while keeping the gourmet back 5.

I see Maddison in the Tielemans role and Perez just behind Vardy.

    I'm not Rodgers though.

Are you sure you want a premium forward when midfield options are as they are?

Currently going 5 premium at the back (including 3 Pool). Having an extra premium attacker would be nice, especially for captaincy. I’m open to suggestions for 11m or under, though I’m not sure there’s better than Kane or Auba

    This is what I did:

    Ryan(Button)
    TAA VVD Robertson Laporte Digne
    Perez Sterling Siggy 4.5 4.5
    Kane/Auba Jimenez 4.5

    Very nice albeit no Salah.

    I like it a lot.

    Would go Kane over Aubameyang.

Helder Costa leaving Wolves. Season long loan with an option to buy next summer.
    One less Wolves midfielder.

Mitrovic signs new deal with Fulham. Expected a PL team to be in for him.

    Mings moves to Villa permanently.

Jay Rodriguez going to Burnley for £10m apparently.

Ravel Morrison has joined Sheffield United. Interesting transfer, would be good to see him finally realise some of that potential.

    NEVER AGAIN

Albian Ajeti has signed for West Ham. Seems something of a classic centre forward so unlikely to find anyone strange or interesting playing that position for them after their two signings there.

Emil Krafth has signed for Newcastle. He's right back competition. Doesn't seem much use going forward so may appear in any more defensive systems they employ.

He did well for Cardiff, the epitome of a "poor FF" player.

Drinkwater on loan to Burnley could be the best transfer this window from an fpl pov. Another 4.5 mid likely to get plenty of game time, he'd probably be 5.5 if he was at Burnley when game opened.

Ismaila Sarr has signed for Watford. A winger. More pressure on Watford attacking talent.

Besic may be on his way from Everton to Sheff Utd. Competition for Lundstram, but it's a long time since Besic played any kind of regular football **edit** Besic was on loan at Boro last season, starting 30 league games

Left back typically i think. But he can play in other positions

Left - he used to play midfield but has been used as a left-back the last while.

    Randolph back to West Ham.

Good news for the Irish man.

    Hopefully works out for him.

Not up on FPL yet, hopefully not too dear so I can replace Martin on my bench when I get a spare transfer.

I heard he's carrying some sort of injury, otherwise he would have been signed sooner.

Sheffield United have signed midfielder Sander Berge for a club record fee. Could spell trouble for Lundstram
