I've always wanted to see him, a very unique voice, I don't like the fanbase he has though, very "normal", I am a misanthropist though so I don't like any fanbases, even the Slipknot crowd annoyed me, pretty boys moshing around like they were tough guys or else the tough guys who spent the whole concert hugging their girlfriend

Anyone know when the 3 presale is on?

Maybe not straight away, but probably will sell out eventually. A lot of people travelled down the cork for the last gig. I wouldn't be going twice in a year to see him.

Any prices released? Would assume around the €50 mark based on his previous gigs.

Yeah I heard it advertised on the radio "from 49.50 euro " , plus the usual ticket master tip off fee of probably another 6 euro a ticket.

Did they say "from €49.50 including booking fee"? And then they add a booking fee. I never quite got that. Always sounds misleading to me but I presume I've misunderstood and they're covered somehow.

I agree with you there on the "including " booking fee advertisement, then they sting you another 6 quid or so when paying .

Not sure if I will jump straight in to buy 2 for this, I might see about picking up a couple of tickets cheaper closer to the gig.
I wont be missing the gig , love Liam in concert.

Just sent you one there for 3, decided against it in the end. Hopefully there's some left for you

Just checked my old tickets, first time I saw Oasis was £19. 1997, they were big then too. I'm so old!

I just got 2 tickets and on the ticket confirmation i read: "U16s with an adult" - we are 2 adults though (bought two tickets at full price), so I am confused as why this text is on the tickets. Does everyone who purchased two tickets have the same?

This/a version of this is on every single ticket, ever
its just a note they put on all tickets to cover themselves if a u16 buys them or gets them at some point

It's a note on all tickets to say that if there are any kids under 16 attending the gig, they'll need to be with an adult.

Its to remind people terms and conditions of the sale, if you turn up at the gig and under 16, you wont be admitted to the venue unless you have an adult with you .
Standard practice on a lot of event tickets.
You will be fine, nothing to worry about.

Sick of Ticketmaster, will probably give this a miss unless I can buy a ticket from someone close to the actual date.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 55 ✭✭Alan Smithee

Slowthai announced as support act not sure what to make of that but it certainly makes a difference from Richard Ashcroft and Gerry Cinnamon. I might avoid the front this time could get messy.
Sold out signs across his UK shows and will eventually here as well despite playing regularly over the last 2 years. Who could have imagined that after Beady Eye falling apart?
Good to see tickets for 50 quid as well whatever people make of Liam he doesn't price gouge like other artists.

I was going to try get one but slept through my alarm, this makes me glad I'm mostly a metal fan, I am seeing a band in the tiny Academy in November and there still are tickets available even though they were released like 3 months ago

Try ticketmaster around 1 or 2 weeks before. They usually release further tickets / cancelled ones.

Then toutless.com will probably have more for face value only.

I'm surprised it's sold out as well tbh, not because of lack of popularity but more because he's been here 6 times (if you include Belfast) over the last 2 years but obviously the demand is still there I guess.

I wish he announced the saturday night first for obvious reasons sunday night gigs are a real pain, also worried how his voice will hold up playing back to back nights. But still great to see his popularity hasn't wained given the fact he's been here so often the last 2 years.

Also a bit pissed off with this. I'm coming from Cork so have to take Monday off work which I wouldn't have to do if I went to the sat nite. Ah well.

Doubt very much second nite will sell out.

Anyone know what hotel he stays in when he is in Dublin or could he end up in any posh hotel ?
Would love to get some memorabilia signed and would chance waiting around the hotel .

Where do you get the MCD presale code? I was signed up to receive them but have got no email. Shame tickets aren't on sale at 8. Very hard to get them at 9 with work and the standing will be gone within minutes.
