Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gift idea

I have a gift idea for my godson's christening that I would give him a bottle of whiskey that he could open and share a glass with me when he is 21.

Will any whiskey keep well in a bottle for that long, will it need to be stored horizontally turned etc?

Or should I just give him prize bonds

Yes. Once it's bottled it's inert and won't change.

    No, it's zero maintenance.

The current prize rates are rubbish. I'd be happier with the whiskey.

Yeah, whiskey is better than prize bonds :-)

Buy a bottle of Midleton 2019, keep it for 21 years and then he can either open it with you to drink or sell it for a nice 21st birthday present, it'd appreciate considerably in value.
