Old BANK OF IRELAND £1 note badge

Hi all, I came across with this interesting old looking badge £1 note badge, referring to the Bank of Ireland. Judging the pin system it is old well made piece, not like badges that they started to produce after WW2. Any ideas what it is and the value? Thanking you in advance. Phaethon
