In what seem to be a bizarre tweet,
    https://twitter.com/BudweiserUK/status/1134491737920065536

Budweiser are promoting "sexualities" that I have never heard off. Am I old fashioned or are these sexual preferences just created by extreme attention seekers?

OP, do you spend your days looking for things on Twitter to get offended by?

I'd have thought that p1ss might be the better analogy.

Oh f*ck off. This woke sh*t has f*ck all to do with challenging the system in which we live and everything to do with forming a circular firing squad and people making themselves feel important. The concept of black and gay liberation etc has now been taken over by people who sound like something out of a whacky American college campus.

And the final proof that this nonsense is no threat to the status quo? The fact it's being commercialised by large scale corporations.

As a mate of mine said once; ask corporations to stick a few black or female faces on the board and they will do so, ask them to pay more tax and they'll fight you to death. It's clear enough to see where power lies.

This absolutely poisonous nonsense is actively destroying the left's ability to relate to people or to organise effectively. It all needs to go in the bin.

They've always been there, you (and me and millions of others to be fair) just weren't aware of them. Chances are people with the preferences weren't even aware that there was such a thing and that there were others.

There are attention seekers, though, I'll admit - but that doesn't mean EVERYONE is an attention seeker.

Budweiser? They're just doing it to sell more beer. Pity they didn't put the same effort into changing the recipe.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

This is just the corporate side of business finding a political home to leach PR from. Big corporations got mileage from the patriotic flag waving stuff, now they have the support of the Guardian commentariat (and the safe PR that comes with it) and they are milking it.

Is there a colour in there for people who are sexually attracted to themselves? If not, Budweiser can go **** themselves.

I genuinely could not give damn what people call their sexuality. It doesn't impact me in the slightest and there are bigger things to worry about.

It looks silly, it is silly, but the pink euro must be valuable. The first and almost only thing I thought when I saw it earlier was what fecken hyperactive gobsh!te thinks we need more colourants, additives and e numbers in stuff. It could poison you just looking at it.

I think it's an effort, (albeit tired) at changing public perceptions. The Trump era has people convinced it's the left/liberals trying to change things because of a hidden agenda. That's generally those on top trying to rile up lackeys. It's a company trying to take advantage of current trends is all.

    Also...

because it proves that the people who write for The Guardian (and their opinions) are now mainstream. They wish they were still edgy rebels fighting the establishment when in fact, they are the establishment.

Ruh Roh , now Budweiser pissed of people who are Intersex by suggesting they are neither male nor female.
    They say....
The circle symbolises wholeness and completeness, while purple and yellow were chosen as they don’t have male or female associations.

    So ...

I'd love to see Bud promote that ad in some bible belt region in America.

It's clueless marketing people who think that by tapping into different market segments that they can keep their current market share AND gain more.

But if you associate drinking that weak tasteless American beer with the LBGT community then imagine the slagging you'd get for drinking that on a lads night out.

Exactly and its no surprise that the home of this shít is the good old US of A, where any movement that can be monetized for the enrichment of a corporation will be monetized.

I find all this stuff to be the modern day equivalent of bread and circuses. People are happy to be slaves when they can hoover up the crumbs and enjoy the spectacle.
