Tracking Satellite Channel Frequency Changes

I use a simple channel list with entries like this

#DESCRIPTION Smithsonian HD
#SERVICE 1:0:1:C7A6:817:2:11A0000:0:0:0

That service number is the same as is used for picons, with minor changes

picon: 1_0_1_C7A6_817_2_11A0000_0_0_0.png

I have looked about for a site that has either #SERVICE number or Picon number associated with the channel name (#DESCRIPTION above), but could find nothing in my searching.
I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

My intent would be to check regularly for channels in my list, against some site which keeps this info updated.
I might even be able to script this and have it run nightly, and apply any changes found.

Yes there are very few of the channels I watch that change but others watch different channels and I only hear about it when a problem arises.
This might have the potential to make life less stressful

So, anyone know of a site or have a link to this info which is kept updated?
I looked at both lyngsat and kingofsat and others but did not find what I was looking for.
Maybe someone knows a link from either of these which would have the info? ... or alternatively a different site with the info.

...... or ideas about a different approach (running tvheadend on CoreElec)

Enigma has moved to service name picons. This is what you will mostly find being updated these days. Try picons.eu

Thanks THHB, that gives me some options for different sized picons on selected backgrounds etc.

I had to do some tweaking of the scripts to get them to run on this Linux install. I ran it, successfully generating a nice set of icons ... but a few did not seem to build so will need to check that.

Also I had some difficulty trying to figure out how it expected to be set up before running anything .... but that might have been due to the lateness of the hour I was trying it

Unfortunately from what I can see the picon number is associated with their own logo files named by them.
I do not see a way of using the info at the moment.

What I will have on my simple channel list, after a channel moves frequency, is the
#DESCRIPTION <Service (channel) Name>
which hopefully should not change
and a
#SERVICE <(picon-style) Number>

which will be outdated and useless causing the channel to be blank when selected.

It seems I really need a means of finding, or generating, that picon or service number based on the current channel frequency etc. using the "Service Name" as broadcast.

If I can get that then my list can be easily updated.

I believe I have found a solution to my problem using one of the outputs from the above.

I have a bit of parsing and comparing to do but it seems like it will work for me.
