Unlikely to happen in the Republic due to the need to move between target exposures whilst carrying a loaded but made safe firearm. However, I ready, as always, to be corrected.

Nothing to stop it from being shot here, apart from the fact that we would have to load on station, shoot the course of fire, drop mag, show clear, flag and move with an unloaded to the next station, and eliminate any sort of "combat "aspect from it.IE shooting from behind barricades or from "doors&windows" or off the ground etc. That is the biggie that has our PTB upset and would classify it as illegal the dynamic aspect and any "combat aspect".Oh yeah and the targets are steel,so you need a range approved by DOJ for steel.

Now intrestingly enough ,Germany has the exact same ban on "combat training" since ..oh...May 1945? Yet IPSC and 3 gun[two different sports] are becoming the fastest growing sports over there. With a bit of will and some talking out of public view and media view,we could shoot both here, and not even need to change the legislation. As it is banning something we dont need or want.IE "combat shooting" we are shooting a sport,so all it needs is proper definition of terms and scenarios, and someone to stick the head around the corne to see what the reception would be.

    To be continued...No doubt.
