Final GAMSAT points file from CAO

    These little files gave me hope this year, so I thought I would share.

    In summary, the final points according to the CAO for 2018 for each programme were as follows:

    Minimum/Median/Change to Median Scores from 2017
    UCD 58*/62/ 0
    RCSI 58*/61/+1
    UCC 57*/58/ -1
    UL 54*/56/ -1

    *not everyone on this score got an offer

    The conclusion is if you have a 58 you have a shot everywhere this year, based on 2017 and 2018 data. If you have a 57, you have a shot at Cork and UL. If you have a 55, you will probably be a doctor in 4 years' time. Here's to hoping that points stay the same or continue to drop!
