Hungover? Open the door and let them in to cuddle.
Watching a movie? Get them up for a cuddle.
    Doing literally anything? Cuddle.

I fought this for years but my gf finally won. Now we've three and I want more.

Yeah cats are great, you don’t even have to look after them or clean up after them. Open the door, let them **** in the neighbours garden or in the park. Go away on holidays and chances are someone else will feed them.

Cats are really are woefully underrated. They basically look after themselves as well.

Nothing in the world as relaxing as a purring, contented kitty.

The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.

A couple of people I know have them in the house and the place stinks of them. The owners don't notice and tell you the cats use the litter trays and are very clean but the place stinks. Then the cats walk over tables and work surfaces - no thank you. In addition, the cats go on a wander around the neighbourhood: killing birds, fouling other people's gardens - again no thanks.

'Connive' is derived from the Latin word for 'cat'. The QED was provided by Macavity.

There is some scientifically proven fact about the purr of cats & its frequency & how it hasbeen proven to speed up and aid physical healing.

Youcan't beat the warm glow a purring cat gives : )

If only they were loyal and obedient!!

My neighbours cat often climbs in the window to sit on the couch at the radiator snd purr - always quite makes my day.

Ever say to your cat 'are you comfortable enough?' (cause I'd hate to think that he wasn't)

Are they though? The internet goes absolutely nuts for them.

Cats sleep anywhere, any table, any chair.
Top of piano, window-ledge, in the middle, on the edge.
Open drawer, empty shoe, anybody's lap will do.
Fitted in a cardboard box, in the cupboard with your frocks.
Anywhere! They don't care! Cats sleep anywhere.

    The ancient Egyptians worshiped them.

They'd have a field day if YouTube was around back then, nothing would have got done.

They carry Toxoplasmosis, which is now under scrutiny as a possible cause of mental illness in adults, so called crazy cat women syndrome.
There are also theories that it makes people more amenable to cats and rodents easier to catch.
