Harry Byrne looking inexperienced out there. Couple of kicks out on the full, forcing passes when he would be better holding including an intercept there. Needs to calm it down and play a bit more like his brother.

Kicking from hand hasn't been great either. Chip over the top is only useful if you don't use it every passage. Bit telegraphed too when he does it. Seems slow to get the ball onto his boot.

That pen comes directly from McGrath not making touch with his kick. We've won two Glasgow lineouts in our 22, but that error outs pressure on us again.

How many starts has he got and you are complaining? give the lad a chance

F**k me Jack Dunne is HUGE!

    Trouble here

Leinster were hanging on by the skin of their teeth with 15 men. 8 more minutes with 14 men could see big problems.

I'm not complaining. He looks green out there and has a lot to learn. I'm pointing it out in the context of some people calling on him to be fast tracked into bigger occasions.

Jesus people get defensive over the youngsters.

Ben Whitehouse cannot help himself but make stupid decisions that kill games prematurely

    byrne looks injured

Didn't realise Leinster had signed Nick Cummins.

He is only 21, he’s hardly going to look the part in every match.

Ruddock homme du match. Think I would have gone for Murphy or Bent.

And its okay to say that too. Which is all Buer is doing. Not everything is an attack.

Devin Toner was very poor he really I hanging on , looks a liability in defence and so many stupid errors

Very happy with that. Once we got the TBP and emptied the bench it got a bit messy, but until then we looked very good in terrible conditions. Our defence throughout was really good too. Glasgow were able to get themselves into good positions but had to work so hard to do so. But they just couldn't close those out.

What is wrong with Fez? That Harley penalty was blatant. Yet he's still banging on about it not being a pen after the game is over. As a former pro he should know better.

    Really incredible performance.

To play that type of rugby in those conditions against that level of experience in the Glasgow team... Especially that back line.

    Job done!

Great shift put in by Josh Murphy.

If only he knew as much about the game as you.

Thought Penny was very good, Josh Murphy aswell and Ruddock , thought our second rows were fairly weak Toner looked very aged out there. Tommy O’Brien looks like a serious player he can literally play anywhere in the back line and be effective.

O'Brien's acceleration looked on another level.

You can't just tackle a player off the ball

If they are arguing about him being part of the ruck (Think it was mentioned on comms) then Harley came into the ruck from Edinburgh Direction

If that was legit why are teams not doing it every week to create gaps

It's an odd thing to focus on

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,066 ✭✭✭Richie_Rich89

Sheehan's throwing looks good. If he can get his scrummaging up to a good level he could be very good.

He is already 2 notches ahead of Heffernan.

Thats the thing, he clearly wasn't part of the ruck. He was standing upright and not engaged in it at all. It was as obvious as it comes. To focus on that as some sort of a turning point is so strange.

Dan Sheehan could definitely make Ireland 6N squad if he can get enough games, looks to have it all at hooker.

It’s okay to say he’s green but that’s just in this game, it would take a run of games of looking green to say he is green fullstop.

8 more appearances for Leinster and he overtakes Gordon Darcy who had 257, would you begrudge him that for a few poor performances in pro14 which Leinster will win anyway.

Sorry but I seen this all before, everyone wants young player in, then once they play a game you have people ready to shoot them down before they even get a chance

The guy is a kid with less than 20 caps and no idea how many starts, why would anyone even make a comment about him in the first place? Let the lad play, he is going to mistakes....

Looks like Hawkshaw came on at 12 with Tommy O'B to the wing and DK to 15.
