    Al Boum Photo 7/4?
Surely a bet? Thought he'd be closer to evens.

He's 6/4 now with the rain.

I would wait until they declare the going tomorrow. It has rained a fair bit there, but nothing that is going to turn the place into a swamp or anything. With the long evenings and earlier mornings the ground has a much better chance of recovering.

    Ok....just gonna say it.......

    Bellshill for me...!!!!

(Gypsy Island in the last is a huge price at 6/4)

Commander of Fleet the 2020 RSA winner running tomorrow!!

Zero Ten. He is noticeably superior to the field and though a little out of his depth last time, doesn't need to improve a yard to take the EBF final hurdle tomorrow.

Super horse but Kemboy will beat him.

Am I right in thinking sizing John was the first horse in over 10 years to do the Cheltenham punchestown double? Anyone any idea the record of horses going in both? Id imagine it's tricky. Always had a soft spot for monalee

It’ll be very interesting to see how Minella Indo goes tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing if he can back up the Cheltenham form.

I think Alaho will improve enough to reverse the form. I don’t think Cheltenham really suited him and yet he still finished third. He beat Minella Indo comfortably enough at Clonmel on his first start over hurdles despite pulling hard for a long way and I’d say he has a serious engine. Ruby wasn’t overly hard on him at Cheltenham either and he’ll have learned a lot. I think going lefthanded again will suit and I’d be confident enough he’ll improve enough to win today.

We'll agree to disagree. I think Al Boum Photo is a good thing.

You are right, but given the gold cup winner rarely runs at punchestown unless he's trained in Ireland. I'd say it's far from a negative. Of the four recent Irish Gold Cup winners , the three that ran here all won.

    Opened at 4s on Bet365!

He won't be going left handed today? Saying that 3 of minnela indos 4 runs have been right handed and he's 0 from 3. Slightly misleading as it improved a ton at cheltenham but interesting nonetheless

Ah yeah they don't usually do it in the same year I had memories of kauto coming over and seeing long run one year aswell but it wasn't the same year. Not sure I have a reason to look past al boum now

No pal incorrect 6-4 shot, was keeping eye

I don't think the 6/4 available about either is value tbh. The bookies are on the floor laughing at this one. Bellshills is the value at 6/1.

The debate between AL Boum Photo and Kemboy is a stupid one. They're both really good chasers, but as punters are you going to blow your Friday night drinking money on either of them? It's a rubbish debate.

I would rather have a good few quid on Liverpool to beat Barcelona in the Nou Camp tonight. I am not even a soccer fan but at least I will get a couple of hours out of the 16/5.

I see they are hyping up the soft ground this morning. I posted earlier to take this with a pinch off salt. It is a fine and fair bright May morning out there, given that the first race is not until nearly 4 o'clock there is still plenty of time for the ground to dry out.

I hope everyone gets a good opportunity to give the bookies a good doing this week , they deserve one. They have had a great festival season so far, **** them.

    Ascot 5.35
Juanito Chico @ 7/1 5 places with powers
    Great e/w shout
Out of form last turf season but they ran him through the winter and he came back to some sort of form, was always going to be better on turf and won by 5 lengths last time on his return to the grass, still well treated on past exploits including a neck second over this course to group class addeybb.
    Massive chance.

Carefully Selected lovely value at 6s.
Can't have any of the AB runners.

A fairly shocking card bar the Mullins Gold Cup.

    Darts for day 2

    3.40
Conron and rock de baune both ew.
Rock de baune beat klassical dream when they were in France and finished ahead of sire de burlais over christmas. 121 looks a nice opening mark. Conron has form in behind espoir dallen had a pipe opener a couple of weeks ago up in trip looks the right move drying ground will be a help.

    4.20
Leaving alone zero ten most likely winner but a bit short for my liking.

    4.50
Vision dhonneur. Big animal make a nice chaser by the look of him. Didn't run badly in the supreme just doesn't have the pace for a quick 2m stepped up here. Not sure he has to do anything spectacular to win here.

    5.30
Novice hurdles I'll be looking no further than willies pair. Not 100% convinced by carefully selected yet he robbed 10 lengths on the field in the Cheltenham bumper last year so form may not be as strong as it looks. Get the sense they think allaho could be decent and if he is to be he will reverse the Cheltenham form today.

    6.05
If monalee wasn't in the line up it would be a no bet but I have a soft spot for this lad. Find myself always making excuses for him wasn't completely happy with rachaels ride on him in Cheltenham she got bustled back around the bend and didn't have the pace to make the ground back up. Back up to 3m today will need the markets leaders to run below par but could pick up some place money.

    6.40
Mt Leinster ew. Has kept some fairly good company with the likes of envoi allen and malone road he was talked up earlier in the year has been disappointing since but I'm going to give him one last chance.

    3/3 at this venue......
Ok he ran poorly in the GC but he is a SERIOUS horse

Agree with the sentiment for Bellshill but run in GC would be of a concern. Saying that, all the noise was that he was a GC horse potentially and I think good value in what should be a 3 horse race.

Somewhat surprised at ABM and Kemboy being close in the betting considering ABM winning the GC and the Savills chase in Tramore.

It sure was, saw 4/1 on Bet365 and was 9/4 for ages, too many people use Paddy Power blindly, they're odds are awful and changing to oncourse before the off is a hindrance to them

    455 pm
Thought Caribert was worth a bet. With two of Mullins 2 years plus off the track and the current jolly preferring better ground the unexposed horse with Harry Fry having a good record here .(4 from 12)
    9/1 seem fair .

4.10 Pontefract Kripkeo stole the 9/4. Looks a match on paper between Kripke and Casement but I think Kripke will be far too good. 9/4 looks a very nice price in such a crappy race.

Last bets of the day for me.

4.20 Punchestown, Zero Ten laying this big time. In the same race I'll have a win bet on Ruby - Voix Des Tiep @ 9/2 888sport.

Be nice if both oblige but I'll just be very happy if the fav Zero ten gets turned over.

All the best to all in their betting en devours
