Meriva for €450. Mileage is a little high, but it has tax and NCT. Not the most attractive vehicle but practical.

With a bit of tax and test they just don't last at that price. People must be just constantly refreshing donedeal at a certain price point and pouncing on the good ones

Would be a nice buy at 500 quid. Love finding stuff like this

Something about the ad for the one above makes me think its quite genuine too

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,896 ✭✭✭selectamatic

That's seriously cheap for a tdi a6 avant most likely has the 110bhp engine too

It's mad really. There were B5's and even 5.5's everywhere up to about 2 or 3 years ago and they suddenly disappeared within the space of about 12 months then.

I think once the B6 became available sub 1k prices, it really just wiped out the market for the older ones.

Nct until 7-21 and taxed to the end of the year.

You could go farther and fare worse.

I'd be surpised if this couldn't be had for €450. 2006 Vectra 1.9 diesel. NCT to August. Couple of marks on the bumpers but looks immaculate inside.

Just literally came to this thread to post the very same car! :D
With 3 and a half months tax and the NCT it has to be well worth it
Actually, just noticed, the NCT was done last year, so gets the extra 4 months too, right up to 1st June next year

1998 Polo with a couple of months NCT left on it
Would get somebody out of a sticky situation for €250, or maybe €200 if haggled well!

When you see 250 or nearest offer I'd say the price of a few pints would nearly buy that just to get it out of the way.

She'd be perfect now for someone living a few miles away from the shop.

Where would you be going for 270 euro?

Nct until next June and taxed until September.

Only a months NCT left on it, but if the car is as decent as it looks, I have had 5 of them and never an issue with NCT apart from shocks which I knew were gone before testing and would be easy to spot. Although these were everywhere a few years ago, the B5.5 models are becoming very scarce now.
These cars will last forever if kept serviced and for the money, it's got to be worth it for somebody
    Asking €375

  • Registered Users Posts: 73,388 ✭✭✭✭colm_mcm

That’s a highline and all. Seems a bit mad to think about ‘saving’ a relatively new car, but this is just the time to do that, when they hit rock bottom price.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,625 ✭✭✭Mad_Mike

Herself was thrilled when I got the A4 Avant (FINALLY got you out of Passats!), but if that was close to me, I'd have my 6th Passat outside this morning :D

Looks like superbly smooth as well. Great suspension. I see a table mug in there. I do need lids on mine so I do.

It's no looker but will be practical and looks pretty clean. Hyundai Matrix, €450. Test to September and not too bad to tax either

I still find it hard to get my head around the fact the Hyundai Matrix carries a PININFARINA badge on it!
Must be one of the ugliest cars they ever designed
    Practical...yeah, but beautiful??? I'm afraid not :D

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but if I had to choose I'd much rather have a practical Hyundai or Kia outside the door than a beautiful Alfa with red leather seats.

This is the CHEAPO-ECO-MANICS thread and that car is one of the best bargains ever posted in it.
