Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Must have bounced off red

    That's world class from Henshaw.

Unreal from Henshaw. Great kick and the chase to block down. Amazing.

Lowe needs to calm down. No need for a quick tap

Fauuamina leading with elbow a lot

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Held up? He had both knees on the ground by the looks of it.

Leinster with Henshaw AND Ringrose is so much better than any other combination.

Odds on a yellow for it? He'll get caught for it if he keeps it up.

Ramos played that on the ground off his feet, no?

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 8,140 ✭✭✭fitz

    Brainless from Grey.
    Need to punish them now.

    Surely go for the points

Toulouse are brain dead at the moment. So many unforced errors and then that hand at the ruck.

    Keep it coming lads :)

They did so well to keep that maul alive.

Well if you don't got to make it count and they sure did that

Toulouse know this is knock out game yeah?

Feels so good to see the Leinster we're used to back dominating.

    They're under huge pressure.

Entire Leinster pack playing well. Henshaw, Sexton, Lowe, Ringrose and McGrath adding a lot of additional physicality, energy and work to the breakdown and contact zone and Toulouse just can't deal with it.

Some key decision makers for Toulouse getting things badly wrong. Game almost away from them.

Seen plenty of those called backwards

Was Henshaw not tackled without the ball there?

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 8,140 ✭✭✭fitz

How is that even a penalty? He's totally in a position to intercept that pass.

  • Registered Users Posts: 589 ✭✭✭baas baa

That ball was fair game IMO.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Bit moronic from the Toulous staff, bringing the tee on the field.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,722 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

Toulouse made a balls of that, tee came on the pitch before decision was made

Barnes is harsher than a Siberian winter this match. Both sides have had some really severe calls.

Henshaw didn’t look like he thought it was fair game.

    Huget was Miles offside.

    Watch rugby much?
Went for it with one hand and didn't come close to catching it. Penalty all day, yellow for being so close to the line.

He timed it pretty well actually, probably just on

True, I think he saw Barnes immediately reach for the card and knew better than to argue. It was more of a loose ball than a pass though, hard to resist attempting to play it.

And from the replay that was a certain try if Faumuina caught it, no one was gonna stop him that close to the line. Could have been a penalty try if Barnes went to the TMO about it.

The Toulouse tackling is ferocious but it'd be hard to imagine them being able to keep it up for the 80.

Plenty thanks, no need for the patronising comment. Seen plenty of interceptions where it's a single hand that hits the ball first. He doesn't get tackled and he could have collected it, I thought.

    Strange game.

Leinster in control, but you still feel like Toulouse can turn it almost instantly.

Fairly blatant penalty and clear yellow card in the end

One of the factors refs used to look at when deciding a deliberate knock on was whether the ball was slapped down, Henshaw clearly got his hand under the ball and almost managed to get it back on Leinsters side.

    Unreal kick

Block there and forward pass. Will be close.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,722 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

Would be surprised if that's allowed.

    No try

Clear obstruction, forward pass too if it was played on.

No injury time. You can play on from penalties though

  • Registered Users Posts: 589 ✭✭✭baas baa

Silly from Conan but there was no way the Toulouse player would've made the tackle, Conan wasnt offside and there was no way he would've been able to get around him. Had Conan not initiated the contact he would've been ok. Not sure about the pass though.

Toulouse look dangerous going forward, but if they don't improve their accuracy, can see us winning comfortably. Pretty well controlled game so far.
