I know people who shop in m&s but could go to lidl instead.

Its that bad value for money or just a life choice?

    Just a lifestyle choice.
However there is difference in commitment between buying a new car and a trolley of groceries.
    I shop in both.

I agree with you that they like and want them.
My point was that they could do a lot better car wise and financially.

    Based on your opinion?

So what makes you an expert on what people should or shouldn’t buy?

I am just using your posts as example, loads of people have posted the same. As if they are some expert car purchaser who should be going around advising people what to buy?

Also I very much doubt anyone is giving you the information you suggest, you would need to know wages/mortgage/outstanding loans/all in and out goings.....

Yes I am posting my opinion based on facts.

I am not an expert but I am very interested in cars and fairly knowledgeable. That's not said in a boastful way but by way of explanation.

I never offer advice to anyone on what to buy unless they ask me.

If you have a problem with other posters take it up with them.

You don't need to know the full details of someone's finances to know that they have dropped several thousand euro on a bad deal. At the end of the year no matter what your financial position it's better to have it in your pocket than someone else's.
