Shame this Ulster final is such a non competitive contest. Donegal impressive but v Cavan who are like a bad of nerves.

They need to ban the handpass.

Strange that the Munster final was more competitive.

I count that 0-6 Donegal points from Cavan goalkeeper's terrible kickouts.

Donegal been much better anyway, but Galligan's kickouts have killed Cavan

    Another poor provincial decider

Atmosphere really gone out of the game, a Cavan goal is needed or this really will die off slowly even with 20 to go.

It’s horrid football to watch.60000 hand passes up and down the pitch and every man behind the ball for fear would they have to kickpass.
Anyone who payed hard earned money in to see this farce wants their head examined

Cavan will need a goal or two.

Then don't watch it, seriously, quit your moaning and watch a different channel. It hasn't been the most exciting game due to one team dominating, but there have been great passages of play also. 30 scores and counting

Go watch hurlers driving 70 yard aimless passes up and down a field then.

Some amount of steps for the Donegal goal.

The championship structure should keep Donegal and Dublin away from each other until the final so we can keep telling ourselves there's a chance of Gavin's men being tested at some stage. They look the only team remotely capable of doing so at this point.

Donegal look to be the most likely challengers to Dublin at this moment in time.

    Patten's kickouts are very impressive.

One thing for sure is that the pitches for football are too big. A more compact pitch leads to a more physical game. It is the only way football will keep people interested if they insist on the constant hand passing. Its turning into a form of American football. Offense against Defense, done so in slow waves with the defense packing their goal.

Why is Michael Murphy playing right corner back today ?

    Such a waste :)

im guessing the last 4 qualifiers left will be Mayo, Tyrone, Armagh and Kildare. They will all magically avoid each other tomorrow morning.

Laois, Westmeath, Clare and Offaly will be each play 1 of the above.

    Mayo v Westmeath
    Offaly v Tyrone
    Laois v Armagh
    Kildare v Clare

    Be great to see:

    Offaly v Westmeath
    Mayo v Tyrone
    Clare v Laois
    Armagh v Kildare

    Westmeath v Cork
    Mayo v Galway
    Clare v Cavan
    Armagh v Meath

    Dublin Roscommon Westmeath Cavan
    Kerry Donegal Mayo Armagh

    Dublin v Kerry
    Donegal v Roscommon

    Dublin v Roscommon ðŸ˜

I would put cork and Cavan at a similar level and Donegal have much more impressive in comparison to Kerry last night. Donegal have been very clinical in possession and a good bit tighter at the back though Cavan have scored two soft goals.

Donegal definitely look to be the best placed of the contenders after Dublin, but I don't see them having enough to really trouble them this year tbh. Good young team there though who look revitalised in the last couple of years, and they'll probably be there over the next couple of years also.

Overall on the evidence so far, a fairly poor year for the chasing pack though.

The four point win is a deceiving one as if you didn't see the game you'd think Cavan was in the game when in truth Donegal could have had a few more goals but took points.

I heard on the wireless about Brendan Devenneys phone, the same thing happened to me 4 years ago, my 3 week old phone without insurance fell off the roof of car and a car drove over it.

And clearly had another gear too. Impressed with Donegal.
