Replacing MacBook Pro Graphic Card

I have a late 2011 MBP and the graphics card is acting up (a common issue for that model/year). Has anybody any experience with replacing the Graphic Card themselves or know of somebody reputable who could do it for them? The MBP is out of warranty and CompuB say they can't do anything as it's considered a vintage machine…

I've implemented a short-term fix by using gfxCardStatus. What it does is manually switch to Integrated Only Mode or Discrete Only Mode to force the MacBook to use one GPU over the other (faulty one).
