I can't set the collection restaurant so I can't seem to complete the order. Is it a dud app or just me?

any additional pizza for €6.99 so not limited to just one, sweet deal for me as i would need a few to feed everyone here

When I add a second pizza I’m not getting the discount to €6.99

Must the app be used or?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 471 ✭✭go4it

from pc : click on the megadeal sign, choose desired large pizza and click on the right hand side sign "6.99 allowance" : the 12.99 price is added , along with a 6.99 discount ; same for other pizza's ; another 50c goes at the end ( service charge ? )
took a while for me to get around the UI for this deal

you can do half and half through the web/app

Can’t ring and collect according to the staff but the app wouldn’t let me log in last night so they took it over the phone in the end

I usually just order away (dropdown for collect doesn't exist!!)... then in the comments section i say I'll collect. I rang up before to confirm and they said "ya ya no problem we saw you put down for collection in the comments".... but i would still ring to confirm.

Apache make the worst of any of the chain pizzas, had forgotten how bad they actually were, the base and toppings were of a dr Oetker quality at best.

Not sure how exactly they managed to make it that bad without trying to.

How fresh dough could end up like that, boggles the mind, the box it came in would have been tastier

I really wish they'd get somebody good to do their online stuff. Their website and app are really poor.

worst website and app for any business i've encountered. Never works.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,797 ✭✭✭sweetie

Had it last night, it was grand but wouldn't apply the deal on a thin base and really should have gone for that extra one as we are used to the local pizza max which does a large 16" (or 2 for €20) that feeds the family. I did like the toppings on this though.

I wouldn't call this a bargain really. Apache pizzas are rank. The base is solid as a rock, even worse after the second slice or so as the pizza has gone cold by then.

If I had a choice between being given an Apache pizza or the greenisle pizza in a supermarket for 3 euro, I'd pick greenisle one all day.

Never had an issue with Dame Street Apache pizza.

After a feed of pints anyway :pac:

Had one last night.. was tasty to be honest. I personally think they're one of the best of the "junk pizza" chains.

If you want inedible pizza, my pick would be Papa John's.. thick base and overly sweet sauce.

Isn't it good that we all have different opinions? :D

    Thanks OP for the tip

Wrong side of bed ? Im letting you know if you complain to apache you will be compensated, don’t you want a refund ? I had a crap pizza from apache once and got my money back plus vouchers, mistakes happen but the customer shouldn’t pay for them

    Ok thanks..how did u contact them ?

Their app is horrendous to use, took me almost 10 minutes to finally submit the order. Pizza was decent though and for 7.49 a great bargain, thanks OP.

Second that. Ordered two pizzas last night with 4 toppings. Disguisted when got home and one of them only had plain cheese. Very difficult to work the app compared to others.

Horrible portal alright, as an aside I had to phone them afterwards to put extra base sauce on as otherwise way too dry, good value at that price

on the website : offer available online and on the app = last time i've placed the order online, on the shop they couldn't find my order in the system ( and by the look of the person at the till, i wasn't the only one ) - fair enough they did 3 pizza within 20 min while i waited...

Not making this offer available for delivery is a bit weird. I checked it out, €7.49 fair enough - great deal. I went to order for delivery and it says the option is not available. I thought surely they would do it for an extra €2.50 - €3. Still cheap enough.
So I chose 'Delete' the offer (only option) and it jumped up to €16.49 (Service charge + delivery charge applied)
