Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all, trying to figure out the heating requirements for a self build (3000sq ft, 2 storey with hollowcore slab, large southern windows, limited northern glazing. Currently leaning towards 200mm block wall with 150 ewi) I'm trying to learn as much about the heat requirement as possible so I was wondering if anyone knew of any (preferably free) software or excel file to calculate the energy requirement for heating/dw so I can figure out myself how the addition of extra solar etc would affect the overall requirement.

Thanking you for any advice. Also if anyone can think of a more appropriate location for this please advise
