2019 NFL mock draft

With the 30th pick of the 2019 boards.ie NFL mock draft, the Green Bay Packers select Nasir Adderley, safety from Delaware.
The Packers’ secondary is improving, but although the corners are better, they need a more rounded group of DB’s. An early release of Jermaine Whitehead and mid-season trade of Ha Ha Clinton-Dix depleted the team of safety depth as injuries took their toll on Kentrell Brice, Ibraheim Campbell, and other members of the secondary. There is little doubt that Green Bay will address safety through the draft.
And one way to add to the safety unit is a relative of NFL Hall of Famer and Packer legend Herb Adderley. That would be Nasir Adderley, a free safety from Delaware. Adderley’s grandfather’s cousin was the legendary Herb, a cornerback on the Packers’ first two Super Bowl-winning teams. Nasir has been a star in his own right at the NCAA FCS level with nine interceptions over the past two seasons for the Blue Hens.
A big fish from a small school, Adderley is arguably best player available, and luckily it’s at a position of dire need for the Pack.0 -
With the 31st pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Rams select, Garrett Bradbury, Offensive Line, NC State.
Bradbury can play either centre or guard which will help him in the NFL. The Rams have lost starting centre Sullivan and starting guard Saffold this off season and need to replace them. Bradbury had a very good combine showing his strength (34 reps - 2nd most for an O-lineman) and athleticism (sub 5 second 40, 3rd fastest O-lineman and he had the quickest there cone drill time). The Rams stopped giving the ball to Gurley in the playoffs last year but when they decide that they'll need to give the ball to the star in the offence they're going to need someone to block for him. Bradbury was also part of an offensive line that only gave up 11 sacks last year.
onecoolcookie and the New England Patriots are now on the clock.0 -
With the 32nd pick of the 2019 boards.ie NFL mock draft, the New England Patriots select Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma.
Patriots received depth has absolutely been decimated this offseason with the retirement of Gronk and departure of Hogan. A few receivers have been signed in FA but I wouldn't be banking on the likes of Demaryius Thomas to be a reliable threat. Edelman is therefore the only proven option cabable of carrying the load on offense and even he has missed at least one game in seven of his 10 seasons.
A foot injury and some poor combine measurements has killed some of Brown’s hype, which could prove to be a gift for New England. He is a highly productive, highlight reel receiver in the mould of DeSean Jackson. Without Gronk there is nobody to stretch the middle of the field and Brown would be an excellent addition here. Over the last two years at Oklahoma he has totaled 132 receptions for 2,413 yards and 17 touchdowns. What sets Brown apart is game-breaking speed. He is extremely fast and can score from anywhere on the field. Brown is a true flier who can take the top off a defense with his ability to burn coverage over the top. Brown should be able to contribute immediately and his speed should provide plenty of mismatches.0 -
