Hi . Just looking got some tips etc. I'd love to give sailing a go starting on small dingys etc . Live in limerick .anyone know where the best place close to limerick to get adult lessons is ?

You could take a spin out to Foynes Yacht Club. They are an ISA (Irish Sailing Association) training centre.

Adult Competent Crew
The adult Competent Crew Course is run with the support of the cruiser skippers.
This takes place on Wednesday evenings and is expected to start sometime in April 2018

Whether you’ve never sailed before, or would like to return to sailing after a break, we’re here to help you decide what kind of boat you want to sail, and where to start.

Clothing: Dress warm and bring a rain coat (even if the sun is splitting the rocks), it is much cooler out on the water and you want to make sure you enjoy your time out there.

Safety: Personal Flotation Devices (buoyancy aids and life jackets) will be provided and it is a requirement to wear them at all times while on and around the water. All boats will have experienced skippers in control and safety boat cover is on hand at all times.
