Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Munster win a turnover penalty but Mathewson runs in after its awarded, pushes over a Zebre player to get the ball and the referee reverses it.

Zebre missed the pen. But that's two very lockable pens they've missed. They could be 18-0 up. Munsters discipline is letting them down.

Something is giving Alby the mist.

I wonder what that might be?

Canna makes those kicks and the game is over IMO.

Against a good team, sure. Munster could score 30 points in the last quarter here though.

Perfect opportunity to score a try at a critical moment. Score here and I'd fancy a comfortable BP for Munster still.

Zebre did the very same thing in previous penalty but he didn’t reverse that???????

No they didn't. He was very clearly trying to get the ball on the previous penalty. The two of them were already tangled up and he was trying to stand up.

This one was just a brain-dead rush of blood

Zebre should have a bigger lead but for bad kicking

    Whew. Huge score.

"This is the I dont know, maybe the 6th entry to the 22?

    Left his pen at home

Hey. He needs that pen and paper for useless ramblings about JJ not actually collecting game relevant data.

He’d be a lot better if he didn’t talk so much!

Anyone listening to the rugby pass stream? The mics are still on while Toland et al are chatting away. Gas stuff lol

I know a lot of ye have a shocking level of Irish but dunno how ye could listen willingly to Toland

I dont suppose he talks less shyte off air?

I'm starting to think JJH deserves a pass. This kicking has to be a predetermined tactic.

Which begs the question, what is Felix Jones doing?

    Nah.

But he was saying that he is being accused of being biased and told whoever it was to f*ck off because zebre are brilliant and deserve to be further ahead. Also Munsters score was just a Zebre mistake.

Then he asks the the commentator fella where he can get a cup of tea and asked if he wanted to come with him. Yer man said no, i have to wait here because as soon as the players appear I have to start nattering away lol.

How does he not know where to get a cuppa, he’s there every game?

Looks like Canna broke himself on Farrell.
    That might nip their backline.

Farrell ha spit a bit of manners on them though.

That's a sickener for Canna. He was brilliant.

Absolutely dreadful decision to kick there

The second Zebre physio is faster than their wingers. Lad flew onto the field.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,830 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

Looking here there have been 3 or 4 tackles that have been high on the neck against Munster, almost enough to almost think it could be a tactic. Unnoticed by the officials.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

The ref really shouldn’t be running into a maul to slap the back of an illegal defender, should he?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,612 ✭✭✭eigrod

    That’s a great kick

No, silly stuff. Put the arm out and play on with advantage.

With that said, the maul had stopped clearly and he didn't bother warning Munster either. Bit of an odd showing overall from him but I think he has been decent enough.

He and his colleagues are not good. ANOTHER blatant high tackle missed a minute ago.

Cloete spoils the brilliant turnover moments earlier.

    What a moronic penalty.

    He's an absolute liability sometimes.

    Edit; that's a deserved yellow

What was going through his mind

That's a very harsh yellow. Arm came up and there wasn't much force. Was sloppy and silly but I'm sure it has happened several times already this evening just not as blatantly.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 645 ✭✭✭Annabella1

    Can’t believe that yellow

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

11 points missed from the tee.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

The one time Munster don't kick the ball away.....

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Have to say the Zebre line out has been brilliant. Throws to the tail and at top of jump all coming off seamlessly.

Bizarre lack of scrums. Testament to the handling of both sides.

He’s ok, seems very focused on one area and misses the periphery so probably needs help from the lads on the line but that’s not been coming tonight.

No attempt at a legitimate contact either. He had no claim to any benefit of the doubt.

It's bizarre that TB has only one start at outhalf this season. There is an utter gulf between himself and Hanrahan as out halves.

24-12 with 8 left. Scannell with BP try. 3 tries directly from mauls.

How is the play more importantly?
