Humax HB1100s causing problem with TV remote

    After connecting Humax box to JVC TV and also have DVD player and an Apple box connected to TV usind HDMI arc to soundbar for sound.

    Once I use the Humax remote then the TV remote won't control the source or menu or power off/standby but will control the sound up/down and also mute .
    I've tried changing the modes on Humax from 1 to 6 but to no avail when box is powered on first all is ok until I use Humax remote...I contacted their company support but their not much use.
    Any suggestions welcome,Thank you
