The teams are listed below. Both sides are going full strength when taking injuries into account. The biggest surprise from Scotland is benching Laidlaw who's been fairly ****e lately.

Paddy Power have Wales as 4 point favourites, I'd expect them to fairly comfortably cover that spread.

The best result for Ireland is obviously a Scottish victory. If Wales come away with nothing and Ireland get 5 tomorrow, we'll be in the driving seat to at least come second with a 2 point lead in the table.

Wales by 7 for me today though.

This has the capacity to be a good game but it's been a relatively dour six nations so my expectations aren't particularly high.

I don't think Scotland have enough fire power for an amped up Wales and expect Wales to win by a score or more. If Scotland keep the ball alive through a few counter attacks there may be an avenue into the game as things break up but Wales are a fit and mobile squad and won't gift much.

Really hope Scotland pull a rabbit out of the hat, but the Welsh selection is so much stronger that I expect Wales to dominate possession and territory and could have the match won with 20 to go and looking for the bonus point by then.

Andy Nicol is such a shítehawk, Inverdale asks a genuine question on if Gray is missing something from hitting top gear.
Nicol waffles around about 50 caps today and what not.
That's the problem with Scotland too many players stuck there on reputation.

    Come on Scotland!

Should be an interesting game. Scotland are capable of a big performance at home and Wales haven’t been great, England game aside. Wales have to be clear favourites so it’ll be an indication of their ability to do the slam if they can deliver today.

If Scotland are ahead at 60 they'll be delighted to bring Laidlaw on, chasing the game, not so much.

Defensive line again a farce, Bradbury was almost halfway up the ruck when he charged forward.

Lol, the woman in the yellow jacket with a full bottle of wine on the wall in front of her.

The Scots look up for this. Kinghorn seems to have an aversion to passing the ball.

Let's play a game of 'How many times Wales will be offside and not be penalised by the officials'

    Two probable forward passes there

Thats class. Questionable defence but a great try.

Also some awful work from Scotland to push across. You can’t give Wales so much in terms of space and numbers.

Poor from Kinghorn, Adams didn't even fend him off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

AWJ is some workhorse. How many rucks has he already hit!?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,710 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Scotland's injury problems are ridiculous. At its worst there were missing 20 players. They get some back this week and now they've had to sub off a replacement.

Where’s the TMO when needed? Final pass looked kinda dubious.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,710 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Seymour off injured.

    Scotland have no luck.

Both teams are playing some really exciting rugby!

Would never have been called up, there's a very high bar for overruling a pass called good.

Scotland taking three points earlier was dumb. Now they're in big trouble.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 528 ✭✭✭mogwai81

Wales looking good for a bonus point here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,525 ✭✭✭kilns

How bad are Scotland here, a couple of phases and wales will score every time

Both passes the hands went forward with the ball

Wales, turning on the power now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,149 ✭✭✭mangobob

That had an air of inevitability about it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Kinghorn gone off now. Scotland's back three is cursed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,455 ✭✭✭Dave_The_Sheep

Scotland are so passive in defense.

Blair Kinghorn off injured now too.

Pack it in lads. It's not your year.

A sieve would do a better job than Scotland

    So easy for Wales

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

First Welsh BP on its way. We need to show something tomorrow ahead of next week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,525 ✭✭✭kilns

Next week is going to be embarrassing for Scotland you have to fear

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Atmosphere is dead. Only 9 points in it but the crowd have given up on the team.

Wales are going to run big score if they continue like theyve played so far.
Defense is so poor from the scots

Doesn’t help when the officials seem to have figured who’s going win!

i disagree. this is a very good Welsh side. badly underestimated by the so called pundits.
very strong and very well coached. they could easily be another 7 points up going into the break.

Wow Scotland are awful. Worrying that we actually struggled against them a few weeks ago.

Scotland only marginally better than Italy on the basis of this years six nations.

To be fair to them they have been badly hit with injuries this 6 Nations and obviously their depth is not great.

Scotland are poor, but injuries haven't helped them, and Wales have been decent, but also fortunate - first try looked like a clear forward pass, and they're in at the side of rucks all over the place. Can see a rout coming second half though...

To be fair to Italy they were reffed off the pitch in Round 1 at Murrayfield.

ANother game where Gilchrist is only evident by his red scrum cap, a nothing player.
Ritchie is trying to take on the Welsh single handedly, Strauss and Bradbury doing nothing for him.

    Despite how poor Scotland are.

    1st try, forward pass
2nd try, dubby runner takes the Piller out should have been a penalty

Hopefully the Scot's will get some of those calls in the second half

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,288 ✭✭✭Wheres Me Jumper?

i can see Wales running in another 2 or possibly 3 tries in the 2nd half.

Wales have a full bench. This will be very ugly.

Agree, hopeless group think analysis from the TV3 lads!!

Unfortunately i'm watching it in work without sound on BBC.

Thought taking out a man not part of a ruck was a penalty

    Not if you're wearing red
A chop tackle, without using the arms is also a penalty, unless you are wearing red
