International Women's Day, eh? As far as I'm concerned, every day is International Women's Day. Chicks are the best.

What's not quite the best, meanwhile, is today's guest list.

Mick McCarthy, former and current Ireland manager is on to talk about managing Ireland.

A lady is on to talk about bone cancer.

Another lady is on to talk about rape.

Another lady is on to talk about heart attacks and CPR.

I can't remember all the details, I'll check them out and fill this in a bit more in a few mins.

Edit: Music from Sibéal and Sophie Ellis Bextor.

Finally, what 30 years old and deserves no celebration of any sort? The answer is Fair City, which despite being ramshackle nonsense, is produced by RTE, and so obviously gets a celebratory slot on the nation's premier talk show.

In much better news, Gardener's World is back (Hooray!), on the non Norn Iron BBC2s. See yis after.

The crap song that has been chosen as the Irish entry should be protest enough against Isreal.

They should let The Grim Reaper present the Late late Show and be done with it.

Not really. It's just a weird turn that has happened the late late the last few years. It's funny at this stage.

Probably more people filming the accident on their eye-phones than actually coming to his aid.

Bit too much negativity guys! Good to hear from Mick. This heart attack story is a happy hero story, by a woman on international women's day (who happens to be a giant by the way). The first woman to refuse anonymity after been raped is also a hero, and the sort of story that would not have been out of place on vintage LLS.

    Fair ci....

**** it, I take it all back, that's irredeemable crap, like watching a children's play, only cast with remedial adults.

Fair fupping play to her. Nurses do be brilliant.

Fair play to the LLS here. An actual useful tool to use. I did the first aid a couple of months ago. A brilliant well worth course.

Here was an excellent ad that aired in the UK
