Job Change In HSE with an Unpaid Break

    Hi ,I have doubt around switching public service jobs with HSE.

    Currently I'm working with HSE as a nurse, and I got a new job offer in different zone. Before joining the new place I would like to take unpaid break of 1 month because I don't have any holidays remaining in current work place the new place won't let me take holiday immediately after I join.

    My question are

    Going on a unpaid 1 month break affect my service continuity as public service employee ???
    How is this going to affect my pension ??

    Won't effect your pension, need a break of service of 26 weeks or more
