Ok I just banged my iphone down onto ground, didn't mean it but flew out of hand onto the ground. When I picked it up the screen is not broke or anything

I could still see all the icons but then slowly it started to blur and not it is black with a single stripe down it.....

I guess it is not as simple as screen replacement? what would be wrong with it?

    Also is it worth fixing?

It sounds like its just the screen that has bled.
Replacing the screen will solve it.

Word of advice, get the proper iphone screen....I got the cheaper ones before and they are a disaster.....

they have a minor delay which seems ok but you soon get very pi**ed off with the phone when you hit the screen and it take that little bit extra time to register the key, especially if sending a text
