I grew up in a small town apart from school abroad for a short while and I'm obsessed with nature because of the lack of much visible nature there. Nature disconnect is a real thing.

Do you know what a holloway is?

Is there physical labour in your workday? lifting /carrying etc?

    What about a boreen ?

No, never . All I know is to bend your knees but I still tend to bend at the waist . Not built for lifting . lifting a cup of tea to my mouth is about my limit .

Have you been to see any round towers?

Is your farm dairy? ever heard of milking shoes and background music for dairy cows?

Went to the banquet in bunratty Castle once, had cousins home from the US, they thought it was so quaint.......

Did you ever have to be the tourist guide for family friends visiting Ireland?

Not exactly . The American relatives of my parents house's previous owners came to see it once and they thought it was very quaint too despite it being fairly modernised. Quite sweet really , they were happy.

I like showing hidden Clare to friends with similar interests. We do go to Bunratty and Cragganowen for the walk mainly but BRT's getting too touristified (and v. expensive ).

Have you ever been in unrequited love?

What shape do you think Ireland/England will be in this time next year regards Brexit?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,521 ✭✭✭magic_murph

I don't think there will be any significant difference - we will still be talking about the what if this and what if that.

Do you feel sorry for instagram models - living in a fake, imaginary world so disconnected from reality - it must be lonely for them. Bless.

Redheads have a social obligation to be well redheads . People expect it.

Do you know what the rarest hair and eye colors are? (often not what people think )
