    I was out walking on scrubland close to my home earlier this evening, when I heard a male ring-necked pheasant making a ruckus. Something was clearly about which was making it nervous. Sure enough, a fox cub came out of cover, followed shortly afterwards by one of its siblings:

    Glaswegian I love your family pics of ducks and swans,I walked along the canal yesterday and saw a mama moorhen with 5 little ones I'm not sure if it was a blended family or if they have so far survived the urban perils

    Hotelmarkii I love your young fox developing his stalking/hunting skills on the pheasant and your bog insects could be sraight from the amazon jungle.

    I love the badger picture what approx time did you take your picture. I have frequent encounters with foxes going to/from work but never see badgers. I think the foxes live in the local convent where not too specific does your badger live???
