A new visitor to the garden the other morning. He paced around for a couple of minutes before moving on. Unfortunately, I didn't have the slr to hand.

I left a bowl of cat food out, near where he visited and he made 2 return visits last night...

Woman died locally lately, I don't know the details but she picked and ate mushrooms, sent to dublin for liver transplant, had that but complications and she died.

Boyne in flood today. Curlew in background.

The lovely mandarin duck. I've come across them a handful of times on the Royal Canal between Ashtown and Blanchardstown in the past few years. Set out on a whim to see if I could find one today with my camera and delighted I did!

Some pics of swallow chicks I took near Dubrovnik over the summer.
The nest was above the door to a busy pharmacy. I took the pictures from the other side of the road so as to not disturb the nest.
