A quick search of the OP's total of 4 posts will give you a strong hint as to the reason behind his ban.

That's the beauty of life, people are entitled to their own opinions and I respect yours but in turn, that means I am entitled to my opinion. Maybe the OP will help the thread by explaining how he ended up with a 2-year ban of course if he or she would like to keep that private I respect that completely.

The op asked a question, not for an opinion on his life choices.

He does not need to disclose anything.

Yeah it was for drink driving absolutely stupid mistake one that I will never repeat again as long as I live . Drove about 200m down a street and into a checkpoint . 2 years of the road was the punishment I got which I totally agree with by the way anybody stupid enough to have a couple of pints and drives deserves it. But lesson learned time to move on now . I'm also gonna pay a serious amount for insurance for at least next 3 years . So punishment doesnt end after ban .

    I guess you miss driving.

Check terms and conditions of online bookings and see if there is anything there.

As another poster said, just tell them and see if they see it as a problem. Very likely not.

Exactly. Decades ago my Dad was in collision with a car that pulled out of a side road without warning. Guard asked if he wanted the other driver to be charged with dangerous driving, he replied "look, he didn't mean to do it, what's the point". Driver of the other car had a momentary lapse of concentration and my Dad could have had him crucified, but didn't. A lesson I've tried to take with me in the years since.

Happened to me too. A lad flew out of a side road and slammed into the side of me. Car was a financial write off but was only worth a few hundred quid. No injury claims cos I was grand. A few years later I rear ended a guy at no more than 5mph in traffic when I dropped curry sauce in my lap (silly yes) and he put in for whiplash and was given over 8 grand

I mean the type of person that would do that.
This type of person should be off the road for good.
Public flogging on O'Connell street too...
