    Team for Edinburgh.

Munster: Mike Haley; Calvin Nash, Chris Farrell, Dan Goggin, Simon Zebo; Ben Healy, Craig Casey; Dave Kilcoyne, Diarmuid Barron, Stephen Archer; Jean Kleyn, Fineen Wycherley; Jack O’Donoghue, Chris Cloete, Gavin Coombes.

Replacements: Niall Scannell, Jeremy Loughman, John Ryan, Alex Kendellen, John Hodnett, Neil Cronin, Jack Crowley, Shane Daly.

The released internationals start. Surprised Goggin comes in at 12. Not really surprised that Nash gets the nod ahead of Daly.

    Edinburgh team.

    15. Henry Immelman (10), 14. Ramiro Moyano (6), 13. Mark Bennett (62) CAPTAIN, 12. James Lang (10), 11. Emiliano Boffelli (8), 10. Blair Kinghorn (109), 9. Ben Vellacott (11)

    1. Boan Venter (19), 2. Adam McBurney (4), 3. Lee-Roy Atalifo (18), 4. Marshall Sykes (17), 5. Glen Young (4), 6. Nick Haining (24), 7. Connor Boyle (14), 8. Ben Muncaster (6)

    16. Dave Cherry (48), 17. Sam Grahamslaw (3), 18. Jake Armstrong (1), 19. Pierce Phillips (4), 20. Mesulame Kunavula (18), 21. Henry Pyrgos (60), 22. Charlie Savala (8), 23. Chris Dean (112)

Munster should really be beating that Edinburgh team with relative ease.

Given the relative strengths of the selections. That should be a handy BP win for Munster.

Wonder could weather be much of a factor? Dunno would they be throwing it about if it's fairly windy tonight!

It will be won upfront. Not sure the weather will really matter. Might impact negatively on Edinburgh though.

A big game from Coombes and it will be hard not to start him against Italy. Kilcoyne could get in instead of cian Healy if he can put in a good performance

Is Ahern injured? What's up with the two back rows on the bench?

Lively start for Munster tonight, some great lines and hands.

kilcoyne looks to be in great shape, probably better shape than Zebo.

Good start. Ref’s played maybe 1 phase of 2 penalty advantages so far tho?

Performance so far in a different league from last week's 👏

Cloete having a serious performance here. Possibly been his best season so far with Munster? Commentator mentioned rumours of him joining JVG in Bath, which I hadn’t heard.

Casey and Healy are a great combination

Far too easy a score for Edinburgh. Out of some sloppy play by Munster in their half too.

Casey's passing is excellent. For me the big negative against him is his defense. His size really goes against him. No doubt will be a club legend fot years at Munster I just don't think he will make it at international level.

Misfired lineout when we looked to have manufactured an overlap, disappointing. Fairly clinical from Edinburgh tho, I’ve seen Bofelli a handful of time now and he seems class.

We started great but we're playing shite now

Their back three here is arguably the strongest with Darcy Graham away. Not a fan of Kinghorn but all 3 of these lads are better (though he had a lovely offload for the try).

Coombes messed up the line out but I thought the overlap was still on if Healy got his head up.

Disappointing stuff from Munster, seem to be all over the place

Great try just before half time and Healy has some boot on him

Ah, not at all. Really good opening 20 mins. Sloppiness that Edinburgh capitalised on and had their backs up. But Munster well deserving of their HT lead, and possibly should be more.

Coombes and Healy playing lovely stuff.

Zebo is starting to look like Bastareaud. Cloete is on fire with and without the ball and Healy is playing with a lot of confidence and assurity. Munster switched off for 20 minutes but they finished that half extremely well.

Hopefully Coombes gets a start v Italy if he keeps playing well in the second half, Healy has to be looked at for the tour to NZ.

JOD cleaned out by a fella flying in from the side right in front of Whitehouse.

Munster are drifting in defence like robots, caught our numerous times by a simple step back inside.

Feels like we should be making easier work of this than we are.
